RoyaltyStat is a subscription database of royalty rates and license agreements compiled from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Edgar Archive. In RoyaltyStat you can find comparable royalty rates for valuing (or licensing) intangible assets. Every license agreement in RoyaltyStat contains at least one numerical (non-redacted) royalty rate, and the database is updated every business day.

Search RoyaltyStat by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code or by full-text queries. The time-saving Royalty TableauT contains the name of the licensor, licensee, property description, royalty rate, exclusivity, duration, and the territory covered by the selected license agreements. The search results, including the full text of each license agreement, can be viewed online or archived for future analysis. You can view also summary statistics, including quartiles of the selected royalty rates. The graph below shows the frequency distribution of royalty rates in RoyaltyStat, excluding outliers using Tukey's quartile filter
Our proprietary and time-saving Royalty Tableau provides summary information on a spreadsheet format regarding the license agreements identified by your search criteria.
