EdgarStatTM provides public company financial information and useful statistical tools for the purpose of transfer pricing analysis. We have the current and prior multiple years of financial information for stock exchange listed companies in the United States.
EdgarStat is useful to find comparable companies and to establish an arm's-length range of gross and operating profits, which can be used to prepare contemporaneous documentation complying with the United States Section 482 Regulations, and with the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
EdgarStat is a unique database of company information and statistical and visual analytics for the purpose of transfer pricing research and compliance documentation. Search for company financial information online by a variety of methods, including company name, ticker symbol, or Standard Industry Code (SIC). For each company in the database, we provide multi-year income statement, balance sheet, and key financial ratios specified by transfer pricing tax authorities.
We report every profit level indicator (PLI) specified in the Regulations and the Guidelines. In addition, we provide accounting measures of asset-based adjustment for every specified PLI; and provide a novel and more reliable local regression (Lowess) alternative.
EdgarStat can be searched by Company Name, Ticker Symbol, Full-Text, or by SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code. The user can set aside outliers using Tukey’s filter, and perform multi-year what-if analyses.
