Mr. Haas manages commercial litigation and valuation assignments involving intellectual property rights and other business issues. He has testified in federal district court and in arbitrations on issues
|
|
such as lost profits, reasonable royalties, unjust enrichment, company value, data compensation, and pricing harm. Mr. Haas also has experience in determining the value of intellectual property for a variety of purposes, including licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning. Mr. Haas is an Adjunct Professor at the John Marshall Law School and has frequently spoken to professional groups on topics including litigation damages, intangible asset valuation, and intellectual property licensing.
Prior to joining InteCap, Mr. Haas was an Engineering Manager and Product Manager for a distributor of design automation products. In this capacity, Mr. Haas was responsible for product development, market forecasting, technology assessment, and financial analysis. Mr. Haas also has experience in theoretical modeling and analysis from his position as a Strength Engineer at a Fortune 100 aerospace company. |
